After eating gelato everyday while I was visiting Italy, I was determined to satisfy my cravings when I returned to the U.S. While gelato shops aren't on every corner, I found a great little cafe that served gelato and soon became a regular. (Is it bad that all the employees know me by name?) Instead of fulfilling my cravings, it only made them more intense and I knew I needed to learn more. I found a training class (Thank you PreGel and Oksana!) that taught me everything from hot process to the super sprint process and from traditional Italian flavors to the new modern trends. While "gelato shop owner" may not be in my future, I'll never stop seeking out what can only be described as a spoonful of heaven!
